Ford Sync Download Fix
Need some help please.
Since IOS 13 was updated my Ford Sync ver 2 now stores the phone book with all phone numbers all attached to
Mar 23, 2017 I have been pulling my hair out trying to get my sync updated (last update was in 2013). I have a 2013 Escape SE. Tried updating to 4.6 multiple times and it just gets stuck. Been on 2 live chats trying to fix it. They then said it would get escalated and someone would be back in contact with me. This was over 2 weeks ago and nothing. 'Other' rather than mobile or work.
Have updated to IOS 13.1.2, Phone is a iPhone 7 Plus, Vehicle is an Australian LZ focus with the latest updates,
have unpaired and repaired the phone deleted phone book and reuploaded etc.
Has worked perfectly till IOS 13.
Very painful for me as I can make 20 + calls a day from my car and for contacts that have multiple phone numbers I then need to select the correct number from the Sync screen forcing me to take my eyes of the road - I use Sync voice dialling with 'call Fred Smith on mobile' etc
Any suggestions welcome - thanks in advanced
