- May 01, 2015 changing my manual tranny gear oil Hi guys, I am about to embark on a fluid change for my manual transmission. Its a 2010 matrix with a c59 5 speed. Its got 120,000 km now and i dont think the fluid has ever been changed.
Used ford expedition eddie bauer. Ok it'd time to change my manual transmission gear oil. I have 130k and it should be changed. I went to az and picked up some m1 ls 75w90 gl-5. I wasn't sure if this is the right product to change the oil to, does anyone have any recommendations? I read that gl-5 can be bad for manual transmissions.
